Radiography is a non-destructive imaging technique frequently used to investigate the shape, size, orientation and position of flaws, voids and failures inside components manufactured from a wide range of materials, ranging from steel to plastics.
Performed on our XTEK XTH225 CT machine, the technique is usually much faster than full CT scanning and ideal for imaging the internal positions of sub-components inside assemblies without the need to damage or dismantle them.
Depending on the sample materials and imaging conditions, image resolution can easily achieve sub-millimetre level.
