I came to Cranfield from Italy to do my PhD, and enjoyed it so much that I haven鈥檛 left. I joined as a lecturer, then became a senior lecturer and attracted funding to build a research team and fund PhD students. Working part-time means I can still enjoy my job and find an equilibrium between being a mum and still having my career.
