Dr Guillaume Kister is currently employed as a Lecturer in the Centre for Defence Chemistry at 老司机福利社 Shrivenham. He is an active researcher in the domain of materials characterisation and testing.
Research opportunities
The research focus is primarily on the mechanical, thermal, rheological analysis of energetic and inert materials.
Current activities
Characterisation of materials using conventional techniques such as DMA, DSC, TGA, FTIR, rheometer, mechanical testing, shore hardness, Karl Fischer.
Stability and compatibility analysis of energetic materials.
Lecturing on several MSc and short courses on the topics of materials, fibre-reinforced composites, and chemical hardening.
Quality Manager for the Group's ISO 9001 certification.
