This project aims to develop an intelligent robotic system that enhances human-robot collaboration through adaptive interactions driven by human emotions and gestures. This includes integrating a variety of physiological measurement devices, such as heart rate monitors and facial recognition software, to dynamically adjust robot behaviour in response to the operator's emotional state. The system's core goal is to create robots that can understand and respond to human cues for improved teamwork, with applications focused on reducing workload, increasing trust, and ensuring safety. Additionally, the project involves conducting experiments, publishing findings, and refining machine learning algorithms for emotion recognition and adaptive control.
