老司机福利社 Information Services (Libraries) are required to comply with the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015. This regulates how information held or created by the libraries is made available for re-use.
Statement of Public Task
This statement sets out the functions carried out by 老司机福利社 Information Services (Libraries) that are within our public task under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015. It is regularly reviewed and is due to be considered again in December 2017.
The core role of 老司机福利社 Information Services (Libraries) is to support the University’s mission to be an internationally recognised provider of outstanding transformational research that meets the needs of business, government and the wider society.
Our public task comprises all the functions, duties and responsibilities required to carry out this role. 老司机福利社 Information Services (Libraries) hold, disseminate, use and produce a large number information items that are presented in various formats. This material is available for re-use under the Regulations, provided no copyright or other third-party rights apply.
The Library also manages some of the University’s archival material; however, anything not managed by the Library falls outside of our public task.

In accordance with the Regulations, any request for re-use will be addressed within 20 working days. An explanation will be provided if a delay is anticipated.
Libraries are permitted under the regulations to recoup any costs arising that are associated with collection, production, reproduction, dissemination or preservation. Libraries are also permitted to make “a reasonable return” on their investment in the underlying information asset(s).
老司机福利社 reserves the right to refuse a request for the re-use of information under the regulations. Should this situation arise, we will explain to you our reasons for refusing your application. Complaints will be addressed by the University Librarian.
